We appreciated the careful house inspection carried out by Ian Towers and his ability to explain both to us and the sellers the essential repairs and upkeep necessary for the house. 

Ian also spotted a significant but hidden problem (beneath the attic insulation!) : the absence of a vent outlet from the upstairs bathroom. The inspection is well worth the price as the report gives a short and long term plan for keeping the house in top condition.

I highly and wholeheartedly recommend Ian Towers of Inspectrum for any home inspection needs. A home inspection is a daunting task and this was my first one, but after first speaking to Ian on the phone, he explained every step of the process and the issues he will be looking for, taking the time to clarify any questions that I had.

On the day of the inspection he came very early to start on the roof, and then took all the time he deemed necessary to properly fulfill the rest of his inspection, going well above and beyond what he initially described to me on the phone. We had many questions during the inspection process during which he very carefully and patiently took the time to explain, even if the same questions were asked several times.

We learned a lot not just about the house under inspection that day, but about housing in general. Ian is extremely knowledgeable, an excellent communicator, and extremely patient. He provides a written report that is fully detailed with photos and issues highlighting the severity of each case. He advised us on which issues needed immediate attention and who to call for more detailed analysis. He answered any questions I had about the report afterwards, and always with the same professionalism and patience.Thank you again, I cannot recommend Inspectrum enough.
